Go, go, go 2020!…

A very happy New Year to you and welcome to what promises to be another barn-storming year for the Bradfordians (did you see what I did there?). Here’s the latest news, including Spring, Summer, and Autumn productions for this year, all of which are shaping up to be very exciting, indeed!

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat…

Tickets for our Spring production are now on sale, and bound to sell quickly. We’ve had a number of sell out performances in the Spring slot over recent years, and we recommend getting tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. You can buy tickets from our box office.

Rose Bowl success!…

The Bradfordians were very well represented at the Rose Bowl awards ceremony in Western Super Mare in October, for which we received 7 nominations across all of our productions for the year. Massive congratulations to everyone involved, and escpecially to Kate Courage and the ‘Revolting Rhymes’ team, who won the following category…

CHRIS HARRIS AWARD for Best Variety/Revue/Pantomime for ‘Revolting Rhymes – Cinderella and Jack and The Beanstalk

Summer – Jamaica Inn

Cally Smart will be directing our outdoor Summer production of Daphne du Maurier’s ‘Jamaica Inn’ this year. We are returning to the atmospheric Tithe Barn in Bradford on Avon, which is going to be the perfect setting for the dark, swashbuckling classic. Auditions will be 7.30pm Tuesday 3 and Thursday 5 March at Wiltshire Music Centre, Bradford on Avon, and are open to all. New people are very welcome, so if you’ve always fancied joining us on stage, what better opportunity?! Performance week will be 28 June to 4 July 2020.

Autumn – One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest

Our Autumn production this year is going to be ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ by Dale Wasserman from the novel by Ken Kesey. So many good parts for actors in this challenging play, which Andrew Morrison will be directing. Details to follow once license and performance dates have been confirmed, but likely to audition early Summer, and perform late November. Keep your eyes peeled for more details…
