When novelist Charles Condomine invites eccentric medium Madame Arcati into his house to conduct a séance, hoping to gather material for his new book, he gets a little more than he bargained for when the ceremony conjures the spirit of his late wife Elvira! Only seen and heard by Charles, Elvira mischievously makes herself at home while making things unbearable for Charles’ second wife, Ruth. The situation that ensues weaves farce and fun, in the record-breaking comedy hit from the witty playwright Noël Coward. But with all of this haunting from ghosts, will life as Charles knows it survive?
